Reney Property Solutions helps commercial property owners and managers make informed decisions about their buildings. Our focus is straightforward: improve reliability, reduce risk, control long-term costs, and help owners make confident decisions before committing to major repairs, replacements, or capital projects.
Founder Mike Reney brings experience spanning both the operational and capital sides of complex facilities. He began his career as a Marine Engineer aboard oceangoing vessels, operating, maintaining, and repairing mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and power-generation systems. Working in mission-critical environments built a practical foundation in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, system reliability, and operational risk.
Mike later transitioned to the life sciences industry, where he led facilities operations, engineering, and capital projects supporting GMP manufacturing environments. His responsibilities extended beyond keeping facilities operational to improving system reliability, simplifying maintenance, reducing lifecycle costs, and ensuring that capital projects could be effectively operated and maintained long after construction was complete.
That combination of hands-on engineering, facilities leadership, and capital-project experience shapes how RPS approaches commercial buildings today. Rather than viewing a problem solely through the lens of design, construction, or maintenance, we consider how each decision affects the building as a whole: reliability, maintainability, operational impact, future capital needs, and total cost of ownership.
RPS is independent by design. We do not sell equipment, perform construction, or profit from the work we recommend. Our role is to represent the owner's interests and provide objective technical guidance before significant building decisions are made.
